Challenge-Response
Interactive, mathematical exchange of cryptographic credentials via the camera display for maximum protection against spoofing.
Physical Anchor
Creates an unbreakable link between a digital identity (certificate, app) and a physical presence.
Chain-of-Custody
Generates audit-ready documentation for critical handovers – from luxury certificates to high-value logistics.

The Principle behind Visual Handshake
Through the visual exchange of cryptographic image credentials between two devices – such as smartphones (challenge-response) – an “Unbreakable Link” is established between the digital identity and physical presence. Instead of merely securing a server connection, the devices prove their interaction directly on-site – ensuring a technically robust “Physical Identity Binding” on the critical last mile.
Technology Highlights
The technological building blocks for tamper-proof and audit-ready transfers, with no additional hardware costs.
Zero Hardware & Spoofing Defense
As a software-only SDK, the system uses the cameras of standard smartphones and scanners. Phishing apps or fake terminals are immediately exposed, since the optical "Man-in-the-Middle" attack is bound to fail for cryptographic reasons.
Proof of Presence
Technically proves that both parties (e.g., the courier and the recipient) were at the same location at the exact time of the interaction. Simulated remote deliveries become impossible.
Proof of Condition
Visual verification links authentication in a tamper-proof manner to the exact physical condition of the goods at the moment of transfer – providing the perfect data foundation for liability disputes.
Proof of Consent
The protocol provides technical proof that a transfer (e.g., a package handover) took place actively, intentionally, and with the full consent of both parties involved.
How It Works
In three steps, two off-the-shelf cameras generate an unbreakable, cryptographic proof of critical interactions.

01
Scan & Challenge
Two parties (e.g., a courier and a customer) initiate the exchange by pointing their mobile devices at each other. The devices exchange optical cryptographic challenges.
02
Token-Verification
The system verifies, in a fraction of a second and in a tamper-proof manner, whether the credentials from both sides match perfectly.
03
Approval & Binding
Only after successful verification will the digital certificate of authenticity be issued or the physical package be released in the system for delivery.
